Lahore will host the most PSL 2020 competition. The opening ceremony of the PSL 2020 competition will be held at Karachi National Stadium. The fifth generation of the Pakistan Super League will start on February 20. Gaddafi Stadium Lahore will hold the final competition of PSL 2020 on March 22.

Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United are the only consistent teams of the Pakistan Super League. All three teams have the most PSL scores on the table. In PSL 2019, Peshawar Zalmi finished in the PSL Standings, followed by Quetta Gladiators Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta. Gladiators have the same score in PSL 2019, but Peshawar Zalmi has a better net run rate.
Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings have failed to meet the expectations of their fans, but this year their fans are praying for better results from their team. Lahore Qalandars is the only team that has the lowest overall score in PSL history in the game against Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars can only score 59 times.
PSL format
PSL 2020 will play in the double round format. Robin in the PSL 2020, all teams will compete against each other twice. PSL criteria
In the PSL 2020 group stage, two points will be awarded to the winners of the competition. One point will be awarded to both teams if the match ends without a match. Teams will receive 0 points for PSL losses this year. If the match ends in a draw, a super-over will determine the winner of the match. If the Super Over ends in a draw, the team with the most scope wins the match. The teams in the PSL standings are ranked according to the following criteria.
The team with the higher scores in the group stages will be ranked highest in the PSL table.
If two or more teams have the same score in the group stage, the team with the better run rate will be at the top of the PSL table.
If two or more teams have the same score in the group stage and have the same net run rate, the team with the highest number of wins will be the highest in the PSL table.
If both teams still have the same number of points in the group stage, the result of the face-to-face meeting will determine the highest position in the PSL table.
The top 4 teams in the table will advance to the next round of the competition. If the semi-final match is over, it will be decided. If the result of the match is tied, the team with the most points in the group stage will advance to the next round of the competition.
The first match of PSL 2020 will be played between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators. No one can predict the outcome because both teams have good teams. The efficiency of both teams will determine the winner of the first match.
